A space for art, archives, and histories that refuse to stay in the closet.Kilera [EN: The Closet] is an independent cultural space in Sofia for ideas that don't fit politely elsewhere. We are especially interested in queer and feminist cultural memory, experimental art, public history, and work that disrupts docile versions of the past.We host exhibitions, screenings, conversations, workshops, and experiments in public history. You can bring your [unfinished] ideas and create something that could not exist elsewhere.

We offer free meeting space to unfunded groups that are involved in organizing and/or promote radical self-education.
